Inspiring Purposeful Play
Although play is a powerful tool for learning, many children need help learning how to play. The set up of the physical space is key - our classrooms provide rich, stimulating environments that encourage children to pretend and explore as they interact with other children.
Organization Matters
The organization of the materials sends a message about caring for our space and that we value what happens in it. Educators also help children become more organized in their thinking - let's make a plan and see what we'll need to make that happen. What shall will build? What will happen if we add this?
Our daily schedule provides children time and space to slow down and enjoy playing. We minimize transitions such as calling for "clean up time" too soon, since transitions are often stress points for both children and adults.
